Today Kwame had the opportunity to meet and feed live Snow Leopards at the Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire which is part of the conservation work of the Snow Leopard Trust.  Kwame commented “ it was great to see these animals in the flesh and I feel even more passionate about raising awareness for their plight and funds to help their conservation”.

Despite a cage between then The Snow Leopard from Ghana was wary of the Snow Leopards at the park. He fed them for about 30 minutes and both he and Richard Harpham his manager absolutely cherished the experience.

Hara is 8 months old and was born at Paradise. Her parents Kush and Aaron share her enclosure where they live happily as a family. Hara is the second snow leopard cub born at Paradise Wildlife Park. She is part of the European Endangered Species breeding programme. There are thought to be less than 2,000 snow leopards remaining in the wild.

The Wildlife Park has a new visitor centre which hosts events from school visits to companies and even weddings.
