Providing Information to GST
We want our fans to support us, via being part of Kwame’s Army, registering for newsletters and promotion and also buying official Ghana Ski Team merchandise. Although information may be required to participate in some GST activities, promotions or sales, participants provide that information voluntarily.
GST collects information in conjunction with the following services and promotion:
• Registering for GST’s newsletters or other communications • Participating in GST’s ‘Sponsor a Spot’ fundraising program • Participating in message boards, chat rooms or other online services where registration is required • For competitions and specific promotions which usually have their own applicable terms and conditions • Registering for media downloads and login of GST • Purchasing products or services from our online store through Leopard Sports • Communicating by any other means to GST
Collection of personal information for these services may include the collection of your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, date of birth, demographic information, age range, interests and/or credit card number(in the case of purchases or online donatations)
GST Members
Email addresses are never provided to third parties, although GST itself, will in certain instances provide 3rd party offers, promotions and competitions via our newsletters and online offers. Registering for Newsletters and other Communications
GST collects your name, address and email address for the purpose of fulfilling our newsletter communications, primarily via email newsletters and bulletins. We may also periodically provide a newsletter in a printed format.
Every GST email communication carries a simple opt-out or unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. Name and address information only may be shared with third parties providing a product or service deemed by GST to be of direct interest to GST members. Email addresses are never provided to third parties, although GST itself, on behalf of its partners, may distribute information to email addresses of members. ‘Sponsor a Spot’ Fundraising Program
GST will collect name, address, email address and contribution information, including credit card number, for the purpose of fulfilling its ‘Sponsor a Spot’ fundraising program. The ‘Sponsor a Spot’ program is based on the following principles:
• Individual fans can sponsor a spot on my trademark leopard print catsuit and get their name converted digitally into a small spot to enable them to race with Kwame at the Olympics. • Sponsor a spot is designed to allow individual fans to sponsor a spot. Consequently names submitted by corporate companies will not be accepted. • £1 from each Sponsor a Spot donation will be donated to our preferred charities, Sabre, Snow Camp and the Snow Leopard Trust.

Policies for Kids (Individuals Under 16 Years of Age)
We encourage parents and guardians to take an active role to protect the privacy of their children and to prevent inappropriate use of information about their children. GST's sites are directed to GST's fan base and the general public and not specifically to children.
GST does not actively seek to collect personal information about children under 16 through its website and no information should be submitted to or posted at the GST site by Guests under 16 years of age without the consent of their parent or guardian. Parents and guardians should instruct their children never to give out real names or any other identifying information over the Internet without first getting parental permission. Use of IP Addresses
